Entrepreneurial Insights: From Local Roots to Business Heights
"The Department of Commerce, Don Bosco College, Mampetta organized an interactive session on “Entrepreneurial Insights: From Local Roots to Business Heights” on 3rd November 2026 at RUA Hall for First Year BCom and BSW students, with Mr. Sijo George, Chairman & Managing Director, Appai Group of Companies, Kodanchery, as the Resource Person. After a silent prayer, Mr. Santhosh Augustine, PRO, welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest, followed by the Presidential Address by Mr. Gigi George, Vice Principal, who highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship education. In his session, Mr. Sijo George shared his inspiring journey from Kodanchery to business heights, emphasizing perseverance, customer trust, quality, ethical values, and converting local needs into opportunities, while encouraging students not to fear failure. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Adarsh N P, First Year BCom, leaving students motivated to dream big while staying rooted.
