Quiz Competition in observance of World Malala Day
"The Department of Social Work, Don Bosco College, Mampetta, organized a Quiz Competition in observance of World Malala Day on 13 July 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the 1st Year BSW Classroom. The programme, titled "Voice of Courage, Power of Knowledge – A Quiz for Change," was coordinated by the Third Year BSW students.
The competition aimed to create awareness about the life and contributions of Malala Yousafzai, the importance of girls' education, gender equality, human rights, and the value of education in building a just society. Students actively participated in the quiz with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their knowledge and interest in global social issues and educational rights.
The event provided an engaging platform for learning while encouraging critical thinking, teamwork, and social awareness among students. It also reinforced Malala's inspiring message that education is a powerful tool for empowerment and positive social change.
The programme concluded successfully with active participation from the students, making the observance of World Malala Day both meaningful and educational.
