Beyond the Box – Discovering Social Work
"The Department of Social Work, Don Bosco College, Mampetta, organized a vibrant program titled “Beyond the Box – Discovering Social Work” for first-year BSW students on 16th July 2025 at 11:40 AM in the college outdoor venue. The program aimed to foster a sense of identity and commitment among the new students, while also familiarizing them with the diverse fields and career opportunities within social work. Designed to be interactive and engaging, the event encouraged students to build confidence and self-awareness as they begin their journey as future social workers. With the vibrant theme “Stand Up for Social Work,” the event successfully created an engaging platform for the students to connect, reflect, and commit to their professional values from the very beginning of their academic journey.
