Session on the Goods and Services Tax
"On February 22, 2024, an informative session on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) was held for second-year B.Com students by Mr. Riyas Arimbra, a JCI trainer, in the Rua Hall. The session began at 9:30 AM and lasted approximately one hour.
Mr. Riyas started the talk by offering a comprehensive overview of GST, tailored to the students' level of understanding. He explained the significance of GST in the Indian economic landscape, making it relatable and accessible to the student audience.
